The face of privelege
-father went to college before you started
-father finished college before you started

-I had my own computer at home when you were growing up just made it, got one last year of high school
-more than 50 books at home when you were growing up
-more than 500 books at home when you were growing up
-read children's books by a parent when you were growing up
-had lessons of any kind as a child or a teen
-had more than two kinds of lessons as a child or a teen
-the people in the media who dress and talk like you were portrayed positively I could argue differently; prep school boys are often negatively portrayed, and engineers are supposed to be sexless wonders, and Bob and Doug MacKenzie were huge when I was a kid

-opened a mutual fund or IRA in High School or College
-have ever flown anywhere on a commercial airline
-went on a cruise with your family not a cruise, but a couple of resorts, Catalina Island, Santa Barbara...you get the picture

I liked this exercise. T and I had a fun discussion based on it. I think the context needs to be considered. As I mentioned to rhiannonstone, I think your response to this says more about you than your parents. It would be a fun exercise to do with a large group, although the questions would have to be tailored to suit the age group.
